Divvy offers all Chicago and Evanston residents an affordable, accessible, and fun transportation option for riders who are income-eligible. In Chicago, you may also quality if you are receiving SNAP, WIC, LIHEAP, or Public housing assistance.
D4E in Chicago provides a one-time $5 Annual Membership to qualifying residents. It is then tiered yearly ending with a 4th year transition to a $75 Annual Membership.

The D4E Evanston program provides a $5 Annual Membership to qualifying residents on a continual basis, as so long as the program is in operation.

The Divvy for Everyone program features:
- Bikes available 24/7 across Chicago and Evanston
- Unlimited 45-minute rides (rides longer than 45 minutes will result in additional fees of $3 per 30 minutes)
- In-person enrollment
- No credit card required
- Option to keep membership through a LISC-supported credit-building program
* Accounts without a credit card on file may be suspended until usage fees are paid.
How to make cash payments
On the 12th of each month, members will receive an invoice for any late fees and or monthly membership payments via email, text message or US mail.
Payments can be made at any 7-Eleven, CVS or Family Dollar locations. Simply print out the invoice or pull it up on your phone so the store clerk can scan the invoice and then pay.
Eligibility: Divvy for Everyone is available to Chicago and Evanston residents ages 16 and older who qualify.
Minors who apply will have their eligibility determined based on their parent or guardian’s income, and their parent or guardian must sign the Divvy user agreement on their behalf. Learn more at the Divvy For Everyone Page.
